Wow, apparently the 4GB MP3 player I purchased is not a 4GB at all -- it was only hacked to make it APPEAR to be 4GB. I thought SOMETHING was up when I got to nearly 2GB in data only to suddenly have files that I added later going haywire. Sure enough, there's only 1GB on here. - So, I'm still contemplating what to do or where to go for Yom Kippur. Two friends have suggested visiting their respective synagogues, which is nice and all but will be expensive considering the ticket I need to get from Peoria to Chicago and back on the Peoria Charter if I indeed take them up on this offer.

MP3 Player Medic
So, apparently, the battery on my MP3 player is dying. Right now I'm lucky to get an hour of playtime before the machine just suddenly shuts off. Only one thing to do (outside of forking out tons of money for another player) : replace the battery.
And look, it's this simple!

- Oh my God, the new firmware to my MP3 player will play C64 .SID music files!! Isn't it sad that I get excited over stupid things like this?
- nytemarewulf and I went to a bookstore yesterday. Sometimes I hate not having money to splurge, because there's always so many books I want when I'm there ... ;_;
